What is your question?
The compressor clutch wont engage. When I went to try to manually engage the thing, I couldn't find any relays for it. If anyone could tell me where it might be, or how to manually engage it without one, that would be awesome.
First tell me why you want to do that??
the way i understand it, when the R134a is too low, when you recharge the system, the A/C clutch might not engage by itself. when i went to recharge the system, it is full, but the clutch still will not engage. it was working fine last summer, and the system is full, but not overfilled. I also put oil in the air conditioning system as well.
Ok, right next to the recharge port is a low pressure switch with a wire connector hooked to it....unplug the connector and jumper the two wires, then the compressor should come on if everything else is ok.......do this with ac & blower on max,, engine running.....compressor does not have to be on to recharge!!! To check the system yes but not to add freon!! Let me know if the compressor still wont run...
That's an indication it needs just a shot of freon! Then it should be good to go......U welcom.!
Low pressure switch is mounted on that silver colored tank called an accumulator.. Unhook low pressure switch wire connector and using a paper clip or a piece of wire bent into a U shape.. Connect (jumper) the two wires together.. Thus by-passing the switch.. Hook switch wire connector back up when finished with your testing!!
Thank you for responding:)
