What is your question?
I was driving on the freeway and my Blazer's engine just stopped - there was no strange noises or smells or anything out of the normal conditions - it just stopped. I coasted to the shoulder and tried to start it up again. The engine cranked just fine but did not turn over. I popped the hood to see if there was anything obvious that would cause this. I didn't see anything so I sat there and waited for the tow truck. Got the blazer home, charged the battery and tried to start it again. Nothing. Sprayed starter fluid in the intake manifold and tried to start it - nothing. I don't want to just throw parts at the problem because I know that is not the best approach. Where should I go from here? Background info Recently replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and fuel filter Also already checked the fuses and I can hear the fuel pump energizing when the key is turned to the on position Thank you in advance for your help

How long has your 1993 Chevrolet S10 Blazer had this problem?

I am really happy that you answered me! I actually saw your reply to another person's question regarding a no start condition and followed the procedure that you described in there but I have no spark from the ignition coil and now I don't know where to go from here. It's always been a fuel issue in my past experiences so I'm not familiar with this whole area.
Replace the ignition control module - in distributor. IF distributor shaft can be moved LATERALLY at all - replace DISTRIBUTOR assembly! Good luck.
So I went to try and start it again and when I turned the key it paused, one click and then cranked but still did not start. Is this an indicator of something other than the ICM?
I pulled on the rotor to remove it and there was a little movement up and down when I did this - I should replace the whole assembly then right?
