i have tried several stations so that is not the issue this has been going on for months and i need to get this fixed due to a big trip coming up next month

Usually this is caused by a vent tube restriction, it's right beside the filler neck... Hooks to a rubber hose at the fuel tank.... Any work done that involves the fuel tank, ie.. fuel pump replacement??
