Clean T-Body and adjust the idle stop screw in just a tiny bit... Adjust screw in very small increments until throttle plate doesn't stick at closes throttle... Also check the TPS for internal binding and correct throttle return spring.. Have you tested it by hand with EVERYTHING unhooked from the linkage at T-Body?
I haven't done it my self but I have had it looked at where is the idle stop screw and I have tested everything by hand un hooked and it feels fine
Idle stop screw has a plug covering it that needs to be removed, you'll see it by looking at the front of the T-Body.. Adjusting the screw in just the slightest bit should take care of your trouble!! .. It's a common problem on older units. .. BTW, with engine running the vacuum that's applied to the throttle plate will enhance this sticky 'throttle plate' issue! In essence, the 'butterfly' is hitting the throttle bore and hanging up before the linkage is contacting the idle stop screw!!! .. It's caused simply by wear over time....and gets worse over time!
thank you ill try it and let you know if it works
