what do u do when ur dash light does not come one, what do u have to do

It may have been something I could do before going to the repair shop. If thats all you had to say, and not been more helpful, you could have left this alone. The problem have been solved and I didnt have to go to the repair shop. also this is an old question...... Thanks anyway
