What is your question?
we know where the knock sensor is...can't quite figure the best way (least invasive) to approach and replace it...have a diagram, but it's not helping....can you give us an A,B,C hint as to how to proceed? by the way, this is engine code po327 (engine light code, California emmissions dog and pony show...lol)

Which engine? Now I see on your other post. It is showing a low voltage from the knock sensor. Proper procedure is to test the circuit with a scan tool verification. The sensor is located between the oil filter and the exhaust manifold on the left side of the engine. It is easier if the car was in the air on a lift.
thanks for the quick response, something wierd, tho...when we touched c the sensor, the check engine lite went off and shows no sign of coming back on...could it have just been loose? otßr do we go ahead and complete the repair?
Probably a bad, loose, or dirty connection, that could cause a low voltage signal. You must be Bruce Almighty and have the touch, Lol Forgot where Turlock is, I'm originally from Tulare, 30 yrs ago now.
ah...tulare...that's where half the people in turlock were looking for when they ended up here...the fate of the great misspellers....lol! no, no magic in these fingers...you'd know what a commedian you are if you knew the life story of my "luck"... turlock is just south of modesto (maybe 15/18 miles) and just north of merced (maybe 20-25 miles)...having a wish, time you were here...always room for a new mechanic who KNOWS WHAT'S WRONG! thanks again, soooo much, for your help...beverly
Wow somebody that talks like me, kinda miss it here, where they say things like, lower up the window, always having to carry something somewhere, even if they are driving it. I remember now where it is, just been awhile, watching channel 47, 30, and so on. Thanks for asking your questions, and have a great day.
