I change out my heater core now. the car has a leak in the timing chain gasket.

i have a 1999 monte carlo. i just had the heater core changed out. now the timing chain cover gasket has a good leak. the car has 105,000 miles on it. if i fix that will it create another leak on the engine? i already have a pin hole leak on the head gasket. i don't want the domino effect . should i just put in a no leak in it and just sale it to a salvage yard when the engine blows or do it now. i do have a new truck as also. help is it worth trying to save.?
