What is your question?
My car stalled while I was driving down the road. I replaced fuel filter, spark plugs, crank pulley ( which was actually popped out & not in line with other pulleys) & sensor & removed & cleaned fuel injectors. Someone finally told me to pull the oil fill cap & watch while trying to start car. If nothing moves, it's the timing chain. I checked & there was no movement so I'm getting ready to tear down the engine to get to the timing chain & I just want to make sure that's all it could be before I go thru all this work & have to tear down again.

its possible have you cked for spark, fuel pressure,or injecter pulse?
Never had it happen on a 3.1 or a 3.8 you didn't say which. These engines have all steel timing componets! You stated the crank pulley popped out, do you mean just the outer sleeve on the balancer? Did it damage the crank sensor? Be SURE you see NO rocker arm movement while engine is turning. Check compression. If it turns out to be the chain get back to us. I would like to know. Thanks.
