What is your question?
i have a 2018 Chevy Malibu. When I fill up with gas, my car accelerates very slowly and struggles uphill and cruise control doesn’t work. However, when my gas tank reaches a 1/4, vehicle runs fine and no struggle and cruise control works normally fine. Any suggestion?

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Hey there! Sounds like your Malibu's having a bit of a case of the blues every time you fill 'er up, huh? So, here's the scoop: when your car starts acting up right after a fill-up but then seemingly goes back to normal once you've burned off some gas, it could be a sign that something's not quite right in the fuel system department. One sneaky culprit could be the Evaporative Emission Control System. Basically, if there's an issue with your fuel tank venting properly, it can mess with the air-to-fuel ratio and throw your engine for a loop, especially when you've just topped off. And that struggle uphill you're experiencing? It could be your engine crying out for some proper airflow. I'd say it's worth popping by an experienced and trusted technician to have things checked out. They can give your vehicle a thorough inspection and take a peek into your vehicle's data and see if there's anything clogging up the works. Any kind of performance issue like that is a concern, and poor acceleration could leave you vulnerable. It could be as simple as a wonky vent valve, or something a bit more involved. In the meantime, maybe try filling up your tank a bit slower and see if that helps ease the pain. And be sure to give the technician all of the information you can regarding your experiences, that too is very valuable data! Hang in there, and here's to smoother rides ahead.
