How do I get my car to shift into park?
What is your question?
Whenever we turn off the car it continues to give us the message that the car is not in PARK. We have to turn it back on and try again. Sometimes this takes 3 or 4 attempts. Does not happen every time, but frequent.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, some troubleshooting using a diagnostic tool that can read the shift lever position electronically compared to the manually selected position. There could be a problem with the switch that shows what gear is selected, or the wiring, or even a cable adjustment could be required.
