I replaced radiator, how do I fill the radiator with coolant

Hi, this is Dusty; I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! After swapping any radiator, follow these general steps to bleed the coolant: 1. Park the car on level ground and let the engine cool down. 2. Find the radiator cap and coolant reservoir. Do not open the cap if it's hot. 3. Slowly fill the radiator with a 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water. 4. Start the engine and let it run until the coolant level drops. Add more coolant mix as needed. 5. Squeeze the upper radiator hose to release air bubbles. 6. Repeat as needed until you no longer see bubbles. 7. Cap it up, check for leaks, and top off the reservoir. 8. Take the vehicle for a road test, and check your coolant periodically for any changes in coolant level. There are special funnels that make this process much easier and are easily accessible on Amazon. Also, search YouTube for any specific pitfalls for your specific vehicle. All vehicles have their quirks, and a little research goes a long way!
