Windshield resivoir leaking

This could be as simple as a grommit for the washer pump not sealing. It could also be the tank or a pump leaking. You will need hands on testing to be sure. You can use water for testing purposes so you dont waste washer fluid. Alex

Hello, This is not super-common, but it does happen. Running the pump and normal driving cause vibrations to the reservoir, and debris from the road can kick up and cause damage in some cases. Also, the seal where the pump and hose connect to the reservoir can degrade and leak, or the line can become separated from the reservoir or pump. A quick inspection will let you know what is going on, and don't forget to fill it once you have a plain view so you can watch water pour out of the damaged area.
