What is your question?
I was in an accident that caused the steering wheel airbag to deploy and both front seat belts to lock up. I purchased a replacement airbag and ordered a replacement for the driver side seat belt. I am being told that I need to have the airbag module reset as well. Do I have to do that all at once, or can I replace the airbag and seat belt and then have the module reset after that? I know it will not work properly until the module is replaced or reset, so it would be done soon, after. I am just concerned that if I install the new airbag and seat belt before the module is reset it will cause the seat belt pretensioner to lock up again, or potentially deploy my airbag when it shouldn't. I am only able to repair a little bit at a time, so I will not be able to replace all three items at once. I am working with a mechanic to actually complete the repairs I am not comfortable doing myself but I want to make sure I understand how these things work so I do not get taken advantage of. THX
