What is your question?
2014 Chevy Malibu LS 2.5 liter. Driver side low beam not working the passenger side is ok. The high beam and day lights work on the driver side just the low beam. I changed out the bulb and fuses and nothing works. I changed the fuse under the fuse box under the steering wheel fuse #9 and #23. I looked at the fuse box under the hood and I noticed that there was no fuse #49 or #50 and I didn't see Relay #14. I looked at the diagram and it didn't have them listed. I'm wondering should I just buy a relay and fuses and put them in or take it to a mechanic and replace the whole assembly. One the driver side low beam isn't working.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Dealing with a stubborn low beam on your Malibu, huh? Since you've already swapped bulbs and fuses, let's dig a little deeper. It sounds like you've covered most of the usual suspects, but here's a thought: the issue might be with the wiring or the connector itself. Sometimes, a loose or corroded connector can be the culprit, and no amount of new bulbs or fuses will fix that. First, check the wiring harness and connector going to the low beam. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage or corrosion. Give the connector a good wiggle to see if it’s just a loose connection. Regarding the missing relays and fuses, it's possible that those slots are for different configurations or models, so don't worry about adding them if they're not listed in the diagram. If the wiring and connectors look good and you're still in the dark (pun intended), it might be time to visit a mechanic. They can test the circuit more thoroughly and see if there’s a deeper issue, like a faulty light control module or a break in the wiring.
