I have a 2013 Chevy Malibu that started to overheat. I put a new radiator and new thermostat and it's still getting very hot

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Chevrolet Malibu. An engine overheating concern occurring especially after the radiator and thermostat were replaced can be caused by a few different things. Components like a restriction in the cooling system, a failed water pump, a leak with a cylinder head gasket, or even electronic engine cooling fans that are not working can cause this concern. I recommend having all of these checked into to identify which is the cause so it can then be repaired properly to resolve this issue. I also recommend not operating it until the overheating concern is resolved and this is due to continued use with the engine overheating can lead to other internal mechanical issues.
