Where is the transmition speed sensor located and is it internal or external

Iv searched my whole motor for days it would just be nice to have a general area or or some diagrams cant find anything close on google

Edit: If you have the transmission that wraps around one side of the engine, the speed sensor is external, and is the connector sitting near one of the CV axle shafts. If your transmission does not wrap around the engine on one side, the sensor lives inside the transmission directly under the cover for the valve body (on the top half of the transmission).

There are two different transmissions possible. One has internal output speed sensor, one has external output speed sensor. The vehicle speed sensors are located at the wheels, and are integrated into the ABS system to read wheel speed at the hub.
