Why does my car have a hard trans shift &hard gear shift when the TC & ✔️eng is on

What is your question?

I've noticed while driving my 2007 Chevy Malibu LT 3.5 that it is hard to shift from gear to gear meaning from Park to reverse to drive kinda jumps into drive. Also driving when it's supposed to changing to second gear it also jumps in 2nd gear but it's only when the TC light and check engine light is on?

What makes this problem better or worse?

It doesn't the worst when the TC like pops on because my check engine light stays on

How long has your 2007 Chevrolet Malibu had this problem?
