Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Malibu. If you've already checked the fuses and the light switch on the steering column, the issue could be with the wiring or connections to those circuits. It's possible there's a loose or corroded connection somewhere in the wiring that is preventing the parking lights and dash lights from functioning. Another potential culprit is the body control module (BCM), which controls electrical functions like lights. If the BCM fails or has a glitch, it can cause issues with your lighting. You may want to visually inspect the wiring behind the dash or near the BCM for any signs of damage or loose connectors. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
