How long does the factory battery last? Its been just over 5 years since I bought my 2005 Chevy Malibu LS 3.5L. I parked in my jobs parking lot after taking my lunch break and got off of work 3 hours later. It just made a clicking noise when I tried to start it. After attempting to start it for awhile my radio, lights and others didnt seem to work as well. The dashboard warning lights began to flicker on and off also. Now my car dont even make that clicking noise when I attempt to start it. Does a faulty battery sound like the most probable cause?
