Reset 3 stored fault codes. Car misfiring. Fuel Filter plugged and replaced, fuel pump replaced. Date: May 2011, occured once, just stopped running after sputtering. Manchester, NH

were the codes repaired?? resetting the light does not fix anything. as far as the fuel pump, filter, yes it is high. i did one monday on the same car for just over 600. if it was a dealer, then it is close as they are always much higher than the aftermarket. Roy
Without more infomation it can't be decided whetether it is too high a price. Variables would be if they flushed the tank, and whether they replaced the fuel pump or the pump and sender assembly. Some of the pump modules are over 400-500 just for the parts. With analysis and testing fees they might not be as high on the price as you may think.
Well they reset the 3 codes, new fuel pump, new filter that was totally clogged plus they did drain gas tank and refill after all was done. Sounded like a big project actually. Lot of labor. Anyway thanks again.
Not sure if the fault codes were repaired. Picking up today and will look over the Bill. I trust these guys work, but I thought it was high. Thanks for input...."going broke streadlite"
