Hello, this could be normal or could be a sign of a concern -- depending on the type of driving that is being done, which engine you have, and your road environment. According to the EPA, they expect 18-26 miles per gallon for your vehicle. Depends on - again - driving environment and driving habits. Vehicle maintenance - such as air filters and spark plugs should be replaced as needed for maintenance and economy. And tires should be inflated to the correct pressure.
