Do I have to take to dealer to get bcm programmed

What is your question?

The car starts and immediately shuts off. We know it’s something with theft system. Also noticed some of the prongs in bcm were busted and had some damage. Do I need to go to dealer for reprogramming on a new one . Also can I purchase one from salvage yard? Will replacing bcm allow car to stay running

Any module will need to be programmed upon installation. This will be required. Whether or not replacement of the module will solve your problem - it is unknown. I would suggest testing before guessing at part replacement that may be unnecessary.
