Could be a misfire. Bad coil, wire, spark plugs, low fuel pressure, vacuum leak. Hands-on inspection is needed. Alex
A hesitation while driving could be due to an engine performance issue, or perhaps a transmission concern. Testing will be required to find out what is going on.
