do I need to replace something and how do I do that
yes
you need someone to do a diag on the o2 sensor . it is the upstream o2 that has slow response. a code number never identifies a bad part, just a failed system. it could be a bad o2 but just throwing a sensor at it may or may not fix it. Roy
