Check engine light can on,had engine scaned scan came back with a P1860 code(Torque Converter Clutch pulse width modulator solenoid circuit is malfunctioning) where is this solenoid located and how do i get to it to replace it.

It's in the transaxle valve body. You'd need to remove the trans pan to replace it. FYI, the code indicates a malfunction in the TCC PW Solenoid CIRCUIT, not just the solenoid itself. It could be a failed solenoid, but you must be aware that it's a circuit problem so it could be in the wiring, a connector, the solenoid itself, or even the control unit. Most likely it's the solenoid, but not necessarily so. Here's a directory link for you: http://repairpal.com/chevrolet-repair-in-gulf-breeze-florida
Thanks for the info.-the AutoZone that did the diagnostic test said it was just the TCC in the transmittion is that true that it would be hard & expensive to fix? Would it make the engine lite on all the time and make the car chug out?
thanks so much!!! STRESSED & STRANDED!!! ONE MORE QUESTION PLEASE!!! Would that make my engine chug out and loss power while driving???
