friend said it was a bad sensor cause temp was ok. after three mo. now temp has started to fluctuate. new water pump?

check the coolant level in the radiator first. if it is ok, then it may be the thermostat. Roy
replaced thermostat and fan motors and intake manifold gasket. Temp still reading hot
