What is your question?
After started up the engine, the rpm gauge initially drops to about 600 rpm, then recovers to the normal idle rpm of about 900 rpm. what causes this hesitation? Note: the engine started up right the way without any rattling or difficulties; the spark plugs and wires are new as well as air filter, fuel filter and fuel pump. thank you for prompt responses

Your normal idle should be 600-700 rpm. If vehicle idle is normal at 900 thats too high anyway. I'd check carefully for any vacuum leaks around throttle body or intake manifold if your getting hesitation. Usually as well it should idle higher at start up then choke down to normal.
Thank you for your response. I will use a vaccum gauge to measure, what would be the correct value for 1995 Chevy Lumina-sedan 3.1L V6 SFI OHV?
IDK lol sorry.
