ac/ is only cool. if line are bad will this cause problem and where can I find these lines at in my car??

Vacuum is normally used to control airflow to the various vents in the dash. I'm not familiar with the sytem on your vehicle, but if it has vacuum lines going to it, then that is what they are for.
