we have had the car for 2 years and it has been very difficult to diagnose what is the problem i have replaced several parts sensors and fuel pump..tested parts but every thing checks out good the car has 57.897 miles on it and sat for a long time in a garage.. starts and dies .. frustrated with it
What makes this problem better or worse?

Unless you have some kind of unknown aftermarket security system with odd influence, your security system doesn't have anything to do with the concern. "Everything checks out good" What is being tested and how?
my first impression is the iac and the throttle body need cleaning and run some efi cleaner in it.
