Damn, Pushrod - thanks for such a quick response! Haven't even had a chance to drink my first cup and get the Sunday paper. One other ?. On first start a.m. has an EXTREMELY high idle. Won't kick down for awhile. Goes 45 mph on it's own. When stopped at light in drive makes a hard thumping noise like tranny trying to engage or something. Checks down after driving 5 minutes or so. Intermittent problem. It's the 2nd day of summer so not a cold issue... is there an air/idle control valve relay that's the culprit? Thanks again!
Yep! . . . .Or a TPS out of range & possible vacuum leak!!... light on?
Check engine light goes on & off depending on idle. What is a TPS? One other issue - wipers inop at times (usually when raining. Go figure!) After manually moving the arms kicks back on. Motor about to take a dump on me?
