At the starter solenoid - Carefully jumper small wire stud terminal over to big battery cable stud terminal .. Does starter crank engine ? â–ªï¸Do not attempt if unfamiliar or uncomfortable with test procedure!!â–ªï¸ Seek hands-on help.
Should we try that even though it's a brand new starter?
Yes! .. Leave the key OFF for test! .. Just want to know if starter engages... Post results. Starter is supposed to engage 'every time' this is done!! .. Make sure 'ONLY' the two terminals get touched/connected together... May have better access through front passenger wheel well.
Ok update... replaced starter.. brand new.. bRand new battery and cables. . Brand new neutral safety switch and brand new ignition switch.. it still won't start now whay. It won't turn over no click o nothing
Until the test I recommended has been completed - can't advise further! https://repairpal.com/repair-shops
Yes we did that test and it did start
Find and repair open circuit/poor wiring connection from ignition starter switch to neutral safety switch OR from neutral safety switch to starter solenoid small terminal ... Wiring schematic needed .. Local shop may help with that through Alldata .. Good luck!
