Didn't check ECM location idk also had sameran into same problem previous band Ford Econoline and I had to gas in it it would just jump start myself it started however it was not sitting this long it is possible to do the same thing as Chevy
What makes this problem better or worse?
Ran out gas replace battery and put gas in it still no start

Hello I'm not sure what you're asking; sometimes when you run out of fuel it will take quite a bit of coaxing for the fuel to get to the engine again once filled. If you are talking about an engine that will not crank due to a low battery -- then yes -- the battery would need replaced, and if you keep trying to start it, you can even overheat the starter. So proceed with caution!
It is quite possible the engine stalled because there is another problem altogether. Many times people mistakenly think a vehicle is “out of gas” when in reality the problem lies elsewhere - - and vice versa. I highly recommend seeking *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel for required testing. Good luck!
