I have difficulty getting a good grip on the sensor (original) to unscrew it from the block> Any tips on any specialty tools used for this specific application?
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1993 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Been in the business for a VERY LONG TIME - never had a reason to replace the knock sensor on these vehicles - unless the sensor is leaking engine coolant (is screws into the water jacket) you may be wasting your time..
Good luck!
