gas pump keeps shutting off when fueling you have to hold the nozzle open and pu

I have a 2013 impala that does the same thing. Especially, when it's really hot outside. It's been going on for almost a year. And, the dealer is no help. They just say theres nothing wrong. Anyway, I found that if I start pumping gas and it keeps stopping, (this is due to the design of the gas filler neck, by the way). Once it stops, pull the nozzle out barely and try pumping again. You might have to repeat this process 3 or 4 times. But, it'll work. It works for me.
