My gf mom is abut to buy a 2011 chevy impala and the oil seals needed to be changed on the crank shaft should it be bought

Hello, the vehicle in question is 11 years old. You said 20,000 miles? Or do you mean 200,000 miles? 20,000 would be insanely low for an 11 year old vehicle. Seals leak. They can usually be replaced with no drama nor any concern of further issues. But you truly never know until a hands on inspection and partial disassembly of the area of concern is performed.
