What is your question?
Only seems to happen after the car has been running and then is shut off for a short time then try to start again. Starter cranks very, very fast but will not start. Only noise is a light cranking sound. Almost like shuddering. Sometimes almost seems like the starter is stuck in the on position. Seems like not getting enough fuel. I have to quickly play with the gas pedal and try to quickly get it in drive in order for the car to move. Must keep playing with the pedal, not getting fuel, then it will suddenly start moving and generally takes right off and runs normal.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Sounds almost like a hot soak fuel concern, where poor fuel pressure or fuel quality for the temperature outside is causing a hot restart issue. Try holding the accelerator pedal to the floor while cranking and see if that helps it start faster? Base fuel pressure should be checked, as well as the normal inspection of spark and air intake. Fuel pressure with key on and engine off should remain steady and not bleed down.
