check engine light-gas cap

What is your question?

two months ago the check engine light came on. After checking the owners manual it told me to re set the gas cap in case it was a leaky seal. After doing this the check engine light turned off two days later I replaced the gas cap. several weeks later the check engine light came on again. I had a tech check it and was told the gas cap was was the problem, I told him I put on a new gas cap. He said sometime the system will not reset itself and he manually reset it. Today the check engine ligth came on again after weeks of no problems. The car runs fine no problems at all.
