History ....I had the transmission replace about 6months ago. my 07 Chevy Impala is cutting off idling high when my car do shut off it starts back up there's no check engine light on or anything. Could the cold weather have something to do with this ? I took it to a mechanic they couldn't fine the issue it seem like when the car is warmed up there's no issues. Please help.

The most common cause of a high idle and stalling condition would be a vacuum leak. Normally it would set a lean code and turn on the check engine light. Turn the key on without starting the engine, the light should be on. I would be happy to check it for you. You can call me at Marty's Auto Repair. We are listed on this site. Sincerely, Marty Lane
Throttle body might need cleaning. My 2007 LS Impala was idling low, this took care of it.
Thank you I will give you a call Monday morning @ Marty lane is this fix expensive?
Not necessarily, if we work on your car, we won't do any repairs without your authorization.
Now my heat in my car isn't working. Smh.
Check the antifreeze when the engine is COLD. Top it off if it's low. If the antifreeze is low, the heat won't work right. The source of the leak would need to be found and repaired.
