I do not think that your vehicle was "just cold" - certainly, conditions that your vehicle's components and sensors were observing could be influenced by weather conditions, but voltage and continuity of wiring is not in itself temperature dependent.
I will say that it is true that If you have warnings that were on and are now off -- an do not reoccur - that It is reasonable to say that there is no need to troubleshoot further.
The warnings you received were from anti-lock brake system sensors and components.
If the problem happens again, then yes - testing is needed to find out what is going on. But If it does not reoccur - continue driving normally.
