Car shuts off while driving

What is your question?

Car turns off while I’m driving, then struggles to turn back on. When it does shut off the battery light turns on. I put a new fuel pump and alternator in last year. Just checked the alternator and it works fine? What could be causing this problem?

Hello, first, the battery light will always come on if the engine stalls. It doesn't mean anything, except that the charging system is not producing anything because the engine stopped. When you say it struggles to turn back on, does it crank well and not start, or does it hardly crank?

Does it just cut off or choke out? Have you checked your throttle body? It can get clogged with emissions and cut off airflow.
