I had a coolant hose leak I flushed the engine an radiator . how do you use the bleeders & how many are they & were are they located ?

Hello, I don't know what you mean about "bleeders" -- bleeding the cooling system of air pockets is essential -- but requires a bleeding tool at best, or the knowledge to open the cooling system when the air rises to the top at worst...without burning yourself. The 2004 Impala has 2 bleeders, one on top of the thermostat housing (top hose) & above the water pump (block/heater hose). When system is up to temp, check these for air bubbles/till only liquid, then lightly tighten. May need to check radiator when cool, & sometimes may need to bleed again (normally at the thermostat housing). Should solve the issue...
