What are the specific electrical problems with your car, I'm sure the entire car does not need to be rewired you just need to find a good honest independent repair shop in your area. It may be as simple as a few bad ground wires. See with friends neighbors or workmates that have Chevy's if anyone can recommend a shop that work on their cars.
NO...mine did this & it needed the body control module replaced (can ONLY be done @ a DEALER, though as they have to re-program it for your car & it's particular options once instead) TRUST ME...I messed around w/ mine for several months & so did other independent repair shops who told me it had everything from a loose wire to a "short" to a "computer problem"!...they have NO way of truly fixing it as the Chevy dealer's the only one who has the electronic equipment needed to reprogram it after replacing the body control module!
