engine jurks and shuts off when i open the oil cap,also air sounds from dipstick

Check the PCV system on your 2003 Chevrolet Impala. The PCV valve is locate in a cavity under the MAP sensor. An o-ring or spring to secure the valve could be damaged or missing. All the related parts are available in a PCV valve "kit" from the dealer.
