airbag reset?

does anyone know where the sensors on or can find out where they are on these cars? i have a mechanic who was going to inspect all my sensors and if it wasnt the sensors he would open up the steering column he said. i would just like to find out some information because he didnt give me an estimate for the job and i couldnt just allow him to work on it and charge me whatever he wanted that i couldnt later afford. he did all my head gaskets and valve gaskets for relatively cheap compared to most on short notice and in a day. i would love to get this fixed for sure i know its a safety issue and i dont want any mishaps especially with continuous snow storms every week and snow and slush still on the streets from previous storms.... but i need to be able to have an idea on the various different problems/solutions that would remedy the light and an estimate that i can afford. well an estimate would certainly just help so i have some kind of idea at all.
