seems impossible to remove screws holding unit in place, rear ones are tight to firewall cannot see or feel to get to. what to do?

i know your frustration on this one.if your not using a quarter inch flex head ratchet its next to impossible.
Got it out about a week ago. Thought the same in removing just the one visible screw in front, then unit would slide out.Not the case, factory person really cranked the two rear screws down. Finally got a small turn on each one to allow it to come free., even loosening one rear one did not free it. Can't stand engineers and designers who don't realize what the've done
I replaced mine too and came across this. I figured out if you can get the two screws that are visable out, then just pull the resistor and it should slide right out.
