My car makes a loud screeching noise when I try to accelerateon the gas pedal. It also picks up speed at a very slow pace. What could be the problem? This problem occurs everytime I drive my vehicle.

Give us more information. Is it from the engine, or under the car, do the brakes work OK, is it from the exhaust, the right or left side of the car? Does it happen only when you try to acceletste and not when slowing down?
