Serpentine belts are longer than traditional "V belts" and generally last longer. Unless the belt suffer abrasion, mis-allignment or contamination form oil or antifreeze I owuld expect the belt to last much longer .70 to 90 000 miles.
I replaced mine at 63,000 miles. The service level calls for it to be replaced at 60,000. Do it and save yourself money and a headache later. It was $40 for the Gates belt and $60 to have a local oil change joint replace it. Many miles later I have peace of mind. The belt was 8 years old. Replace it before it goes south. Good luck.
