what would cause the car to skip or hiccup - uncomfortable driving over 25 to 30?

fixed the non start issue by overriding the security system. On to a different issue: Immediately will skip when accelerated to about 20 or 25 mph. Got a new gas cap, new fuel filter, any suggestions plz? Thx

about the same everytime - hot or cold engine. struggles uphill particularly

How long has your 2001 Chevrolet Impala had this problem?

three weeks - had it looked over and they could not figure it ot. Im assuming they would have caught something major. The car has 60000 mles...
