When my car kicks in at about 30 it is like a hard thrust. Could my trans be slipping?

Sounds like what your describing the trans is shifting harsh. Does it seem as if the shift points are high from gear to gear? I think it would be wise to take it to a good shop and let them drive it to advise you.
just took my 04 in it was doing the same thing it was a shift seleniod cost around 550 bucks
My 06 is doing the same thing. The only problem is, it does not do it all the time and generally will stop once I turn the car off and let it sit for about 5 min. Also, I have taken it to the shop and they cannot detect anything wrong because once it gets turned off, it will not do it again and it is not ready any codes.
My car has the same problem I took it to the dealership and they said it is the sensor on the trans! It costs about $600 for part n labor! It's causing too much air intake!!! Which isn't bad but it will need to be fixed
I have an 05' could that be my potential problem?
