the heater blower has to be on the highest setting (1-5) in order to work, i replaced the part and it is doing the same thing only works on 5, sometimes it will make a high pitch noise inside the car, what should i check next?

You replaced the blower motor resistor or the blower motor module? and it still runs on high?
